A Healthy Future Within Reach Campaign

Stars Within Reach has joined the Philadelphia community of Point Breeze to raise awareness to combat the factors contributing to childhood obesity and the lack of healthy eating options in urban areas. During month of May, Stars Within Reach and our STAR Partners will shine a spotlight on this national issue and offer solutions to eradicate the problematic factors.

The end result? A community garden, a fruit orchard, and increased urban farming throughout the Point Breeze area & hopefully a model that will be duplicated in other urban areas. Between learning what the Mayor has in store for Philadelphia’s food deserts, and catching a glimpse of Senator Farnese keeping kids active with a round of double dutch, learn how YOU can help us make a difference in Point Breeze.
