A Unique Beginning

Stars Within Reach is the vision of Paul and Nichole Badger & a very cool wedding stor!

As Paul and Nichole prepared for their nuptials they each had a different vision for the wedding, but one common theme – Paul and Nichole felt strongly about spending an exuberant sum on a wedding with so many people living without basic needs. The couple decided that the theme for their first day as husband and wife would be GIVING! They cut their wedding budget in half (along with the guest list) and used the remainder of their budget to launch Stars Within Reach. After a beautiful wedding ceremony atop one of Philadelphia’s most romantic treasures and a memorable reception with family and friends, Paul and Nichole hosted a HUGE launch event and fundraiser for Stars Within Reach! The couple asked their guests to give donations to Stars Within Reach or their favorite charity in lieu of wedding gifts. And with the support of their family, friends, and a few very generous strangers, Stars Within Reach was launched in August 2008! Mission Statement

Stars Within Reach, Inc. is a nonprofit venture with a vision of growing internationally! Our organization is aimed to create collaborative efforts between members of the sports and entertainment industries, businesses, community organizations and leaders, and community members to provide lasting solutions to some our most prevalent social issues. This unique model embraces the concept that together we can accomplish so much more! Stars Within Reach, Inc. will support 12 different platforms (highlighting one per month) and coordinate at least one major project each year.

Our Model

The best experiences in life are those shared with others! Stars Within Reach believes the same is true for giving. Our model takes a little and turns it into a lot by creating matching gifts.
